Old Fargie Farm has been in the Doig family for over 40 years, and it’s a place that means a lot to us - It’s where we’ve grown up and is a big part of our family. We’ve long admired the setting of Old Fargie Farm and believe that rural Perthshire is a special place. We wanted to give others the chance to enjoy it the way we do. Our lodges are designed to be cosy, peaceful spaces where people can slow down, take in the views, and simply enjoy being here. Whether it’s waking up to open countryside, spotting wildlife, or exploring the local area, our aim is really straightforward, we want to give people a great experience in a beautiful part of the country.

Fabulous weekend break *****

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Old Fargie Lodges. The lodge was very well equipped, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The stand out feature for us was the amazing sauna and hot tub - we used them throughout our entire stay! The lodge is only a 15 minute drive into Perth, so we were able to nip out to the shops to grab messages for tea etc. Having a fully functioning oven/hob made it so easy for us to cook our tea. We also took a walk down to Balvaird Castle - which only took around 25 mins to walk to - and was lovely to see the animals in the fields nearby. Though the lodge was well quipped, the only thing we felt it lacked was a black-out-blind to cover the bedroom door or the patio door. The light shines in when the sun rises - and some may not mind that - we just like it to be extra dark when we sleep - but, again, that is just a preference. It certainly didn’t put a damper on our time away - just a suggestion for the future! (If you’re like us I’d bring an eye mask!) To summarise, we will absolutely be back to the Old Fargie Lodges and we would recommend a stay here to anyone. The lodge is incredibly modern, spacious, cosy and clean. We loved it!

Beautiful location with stunning views, very clean and cosy! We loved every second of it. It was genuinely a struggle leaving because of how amazing it was. The guidey app was such a great touch too, so easy to use and a brilliant way to share all the information we needed. Whoever came up with that is a genius! Will definitely be back, 100% recommend!!!
